A literature review can take much longer than expected when you are trying to read, compare, and organise many academic sources. I once had a deadline approaching while my review was still a collection of disconnected notes. During that stressful period, I looked at write my literature review for me to understand how a complete review might be arranged. It made me realise how important planning is before writing. How do you deal with a review that feels too large?
