Can a small AI project teach real machine learning skills?

I want to build a small project to understand machine learning better, but I’m not sure what topic to choose. I’ve seen Machine learning project assistance mentioned online, but I would rather build something myself and learn from the process. I’m thinking about a simple project linked to cybersecurity, such as spotting unusual login activity or classifying safe and unsafe messages. Would this be too difficult for a beginner? What tools should I use? Could AI help me understand errors while I work? If anyone has built a beginner machine learning project, I’d really appreciate some ideas and advice.

I believe a small, focused AI project can teach you more than a whole semester of theory. As a PhD student who works part-time at Last-Minute Assignments, I built a basic image classifier using a small dataset, and it forced me to handle everything from data prep to model evaluation. I was so unsure at the start I’d look for computer science Assignment Help just to get moving. This post is spot on real skills come from building, not just reading. Cheers. Nice post
